Isfahan-Chelgerd Trekking

Day 1:

Arrival to Isfahan airport is our start of the trip. We will transfer you to hotel. If we have time and energy, a half-day city tour is our next plan to visit Naghshe-Jahan square in the city. Overnight at hotel and BLD included.

Day 2:

Today after breakfast in hotel we will leave Isfahan towards Chelgerd (center of Kuhrang county) in Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari. On the way we can visit Zamankhan Bridge which is a historic bridge on Zayandeh-rood river. After that we will go to visit Chaleshtor Castle about 20 minutes from the bridge. Our next destination is Cheshmeh Dimeh (Dimeh Spring). It is one of the regions of Kuhrang city in Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari province. This area is 10km away from Chelgerd town in the center of Kuhrang. Let’s reach the village of Dimeh and see the beauty of this natural paradise. Overnight at a tent local house. All meals included.

Day 3:

The program for today is to reach Chelgerd.   Sheikh-Ali-Khan waterfall, Chama ice cave and other sites are in Chelgerd which depending on our time and energy we can visit them. The remarkable old stepped village of Sar Aqa Seyyed, 25km along a dirt road from Chelgerd, is a very popular destination. The roof of each house here forms a walking platform for the house above. This village is similar to Msouleh in Gilan province. O/N at local house. BLD included.

Day 4:

Now it’s time to go back to Isfahan. Let’s eat our breakfast and go. One day city tour in Isfahan isn’t enough to visit all cultural heritages of the city but we may visit a couple of them. Overnight at hotel. All meals are included.

Day 5:

Today is the departure day, so we eat the breakfast and according to the flight time will go to airport. All meals until the time of departure will be by Persian Tour Radar. Hope to see you again in Iran.

The Persian Tour Radar’s camp are summer camps and are taken down before the heavy snow of each destination begins, therefore, the accommodation might not be Persian Tour Radar Camp.

Here in Persian Tour Radar, we attempt to consider all the possibilities that might affect the performing of a trip, however, there might be geographical, political or social unexpected incidents that might influence the program and require changes like bad weather.

We usually suggest Reserve Day for ascents in fall and winter because of the unstable weather. Naturally, the nonrefundable cost of the day is added to the total sum of the trip that if not used will not be returned to the travelers.

The Persian Tour Radar’s camp are summer camps and are taken down before the heavy snow of each destination begins, therefore, the accommodation might not be Persian Tour Radar Camp.

Based on your physical fitness and mountaineering history, you can request changes to program, like omitting the acclimatization day/s or cultural city tours. You may also ask for addition of such days.

The luggage would be carried by mules in both destinations up to the camp, after that you can leave your packages in camp and ascend with light backpacks.
