During this trip we will visit Nomad people from different places of Iran. For visiting Nomad tribes we should travel from North to South of Iran.

Tehran

Tehran is capital of Iran and the most popular city of the country; it is also the second largest metropolitan city in the middle east.

Tehrani people speak Persian language. Although the large number of them are of other ethnic linguistic group, 99% of the people understand and speak Persian. International Airport of Imam Khomeini and domestic airport of Mehrabad, central railway station and subway stations are properly developed in Tehran.  

 

Isfahan

Isfahan_naghshe_jahanThe multi-ethnical city of Isfahan is located in central Iran and is a place where Muslims, Christians and Jews live together peacefully. After Tehran and Mashhad, it is the third populated city of Iran. The most glorious time of Isfahan was in 16th century at the Safavids dynasty era when it was the capital city of Persia. Isfahan has so many stunning monuments from Safavids dynasty representing Islamic and Persian architecture. Magnificent mosques, minarets, palaces and bridges can be found in Isfahan. There are many picturesque gardens and ancient Bazaars at this city that are tourism attractions of the city. Some of tourism attractions in Isfahan are:

Day 1. Arrival to Tehran

By arriving to IKA airport, Persian Tour Radar team will pick you for transfer to hotel. Today we will Visit Glass Museum and the Bazaar. Overnight at hotel in Tehran. BLD included.

 

Day 2. Qazvin – Anzali

Today we will go to Bandar-Anzali (Anzali port) a fishing city near Caspian Sea. For reaching this city let’s drive first to Qazvin. This is a historic city and have so many historic buildings therefore we will visit some near places and then continue our way to Bandar-Anzali. Overnight in Bandar-Anzali. BLD included.

 

Day 3. Anzali Lagoon

After breakfast in hotel let’s go boating and bird watching through the Anzali Lagoon. Many different species of birds can be found here. After having a lunch at a local restaurant, we will take a look at Anzali bazaars. One of them are fisher’s bazaar. Overnight for dinner at hotel in Bandar-Anzali.

 

Day 4. Ardabil City

Next destination is Ardabil city in Ardabil province. The beautiful 14th-century Sheikh-Safi Mausoleum will be met in Aalighapu square. Anthropology museum of Ardabil is also at the same neighborhood. Shorabil lake near the university of Ardabil is another beautiful natural attraction to visit. Overnight at hotel in Sarein town. Sarein is the only town of the world which holds more than 15 mineral Hydrotherapic hot springs with different therapeutic properties. BLD included.

 

Day 5. Shahsavan Nomads

After a breakfast in hotel we leave Sarein town towards Ardabil and go to the closest town to mount Sabalan (Lahrood 1220m). After Lahrood we will reach to a village with hot mineral spring (Shabil 2870m). Here we will be transferred by off-road 4×4 vehicle to one of Nomad people’s place named “Khavandi Oba”. Overnight in nomad tent (Alachique).

 

Day 6. Shahsavan Nomads at Qotursooei (2780m)

Qotursooei (water of skin diseases) is another hot spring near which nomads live and we will visit them. Shahr-Yeri is a very ancient place from thousands of years ago that worth to visit. We travel towards Lahrood, Meshginshahr, and Ahar before reaching Tabriz. Overnight at hotel in Tabriz. BLD included.

 

Day 7. East Azerbaijan Province:

After breakfast in hotel we will visit the Azerbaijan Museum. Blue Mosque with its famous blue mosaic tiles is in our visiting plan. We continue our trip by going towards Kandovan, and Khangah along the western shore of Orumiyeh Lake (a lake full of salt). Maragheh, for visiting the Three Selijuq Tower and observatory of Maragheh (800 years ago) before finally arriving to Takab. Overnight in Takab. All meals are included.

 

Day 8. Takab:

Early in the morning after breakfast we visit Takhte-Soleiman, an extraordinary Sassanid and Islamic site. After having lunch, we will see Alisadr Cave. It’s one of the most astonishing water caves on the way to Hamedan. Overnight in Hamedan, all meals included.

 

Day 9. Hamadan:

6th-century BC rock inscriptions at Ganjnameh, the 4th-century Stone Lion, the Tomb of Avicenna and the Jewish queen of Xerxes are the places which will be visited for today. After sightseeing in Hamedan we will pass from Atrak and Golpayegan to reach Shahre-Kord. Overnight in Shahre-Kord. All meals included.

 

Day 10. Shahre-Kord:

Bakhtiari nomads in Farsan, Chelgerd, and Marboreh are waiting for us to visit. Overnight in tented accommodation of Marboreh. BLD included.

 

Day 11. Chogakhor:

Early in the morning through the encampments of the nomads we will drive towards Chogakhor Lagoon. It’s a protected area for birdwatching. Overnight in tent in Chogakhor. BLD included.

 

Day 12. Yasuj:

Today we go to Gandoman and Yasuj, the place where Ghashghaei nomads live. Overnight in Yasuj. BLD included.

 

Day 13. Shiraz:

Today magnificent archaeological sites at Naqshe-Rostem and Persepolis on the way to Shiraz are the places we visit. Overnight in Shiraz. BLD included.

 

Day 14. Shiraz:

Today a one-day city tour in Shiraz is the plan. Overnight in Shiraz. BLD included.

 

Day 15. Isfahan:

On the way to Isfahan we will visit Pasargad. Overnight in Isfahan. BLD included

 

Day 16. Isfahan:

Today we will have a full day city tour of Isfahan. Isfahan is known as Half of the world. One of beautiful famous places of Isfahan which “Persian Tour Radar” plans to visit is Naghshe -Jahan Square embracing: Imam Mosque, Sheikh-Lotfollah Mosque and Alighapoo Palace. If we want to visit more places in Isfahan, we can go to Jame’ (Congregational) Mosque. O/N at hotel in Isfahan. BLD included.

 

Day 17. Isfahan:

Today we’ll visit Armenian district of Isfahan and Vank Cathedral. There are so many historic houses in Isfahan which we may have time to visit two of them for today. O/N at hotel in Isfahan. BLD included.

 

Day 18. Fly Back:

Today is the day of farewell. At this day according to the flight time we will go to airport. Meals until the time of departure included by Persian Tour Radar.
