Shiraz, Choghakhor Lagoon, Zardkuh

Day 1: Arrival to Shiraz

After arrival to Shiraz airport, you will be transferred to hotel. Today a Half-day city tour has been arranged for you. At this city tour we will try to visit Eram Garden, Jahan-Nama Garden, Hafezieh, Sa’dieh, Darvazeh Quran. Overnight in hotel. All meals included.

Day 2: City Tour & Drive to Boldaji

At this day after having breakfast in hotel, a transfer will take you respectively to Perspolis, Naghshe-Rostam & Pasargad. We will leave and drive towards Boldaji town and Choghakhor lagoon in Chaharmahal-Bakhtiari province. After 4 hours we will reach the lagoon. overnight at tent in Choghakhor lagoon. All meals for today are included.

Day 3: Recreation in Choghakhor Lagoon

1. Photography of the pristine nature of the lagoon and its surroundings.
2. Watch the migratory and native birds migrating to the area in the fall and winter.
3. If you are fishing enthusiast, you can spend hours in this area.
4. In the summer and spring, when more travelers and tourists come to the lagoon, you can enjoy rowing a boat on the lake.
5. Climbing the altitudes of Mount Calar (note that to reach the heights, you must have the needed equipment).
6. Hike through the Anemone Plains, full of red flowers and unique fragrances

overnight at tent in Choghakhor lagoon. All meals for today are included.

Day 4: Rafting

Let’s eat our breakfast and go to the start point of white-water rafting. It will be very exciting to have an adventurous rafting along Zayandehrood river. After rafting, we will have a visit to Chaleshtor castle. After that go to visit the very beautiful and historic bridge of Zamankhan. Cheshmeh Dimeh (Dimeh Spring) is our next destination. From Dimeh we will go to Chelgerd and stay overnight at a local house. All meals are included.   

Day 5: Sar Agha Seyyed Stepped Village

The program for today is to visit Sheikh-AliKhan waterfall, Chama ice cave and other sites are in Kuhrang which depending on our time and energy we can visit them. The remarkable old stepped village of Sar Aqa Seyyed, 25km along a dirt road from Chelgerd, is a very popular destination. The roof of each house here forms a walking platform for the house above. This village is similar to Msouleh in Gilan province. Overnight at a local house in Sar Aqa Seyyed. BLD included.

Day 6: Isfahan

Today after breakfast we will leave towards Isfahan and after 4 hours will reach the beautiful cultural city of Isfahan and will have a city tour there. Naghshe-Jahan square of Isfahan and its nearby traditional, historic buildings and mosques are our first visiting places. Overnight at hotel and all meals included.

Day 7: Departure

After hotel breakfast, according to the flight time we will check out and transfer to Isfahan airport. Hope you had a good and memorable trip in Zardkuh area and hope to see you again in Iran. Until the time of flight, all meals are with Persian Tour Radar.

We usually suggest Reserve Day for ascents in fall and winter because of the unstable weather. Naturally, the nonrefundable cost of the day is added to the total sum of the trip that if not used will not be returned to the travelers.

The Persian Tour Radar’s camp are summer camps and are taken down before the heavy snow of each destination begins, therefore, the accommodation might not be Persian Tour Radar Camp.

Based on your physical fitness and mountaineering history, you can request changes to program, like omitting the acclimatization day/s or cultural city tours. You may also ask for addition of such days.

The luggage would be carried by mules in both destinations up to the camp, after that you can leave your packages in camp and ascend with light backpacks.
